Syniad y prosiect ydy galluogi’r gymuned yn Nyffryn Nantlle i wneud rhai o’r pethau mae pobl eisiau gwneud. Pethau fel datblygu economi yr ardal, diogelu yr adnoddau naturiol sydd yma, a dathlu yr hyn mae pobl yn ei wneud yma. Dydy’r pethau yma ddim yn mynd i ddigwydd dros nos, felly’r syniad ydy dechrau trwy greu gweledigaeth glir gall bawb ei rannu.
Bydd hyn yn digwydd dros y misoedd nesaf mewn tri cyfarfod, a hefyd yma ar y wê. Dyma ydy cynllun y cyfarfodydd:

- Dyffryn Nantlle y dyfodol: eich syniadau a’ch gweledigaeth chi o Ddyffryn Nantlle yn 2020 a 2050, nos Fercher 13.4.2011
- Cyfarfod cynllunio: dechrau rhoi’r weledigaeth ar waith, 23.5.2011
Bydd pob cyfarfod yn Neuadd Goffa Penygroes am 7 o’r gloch.
Byddem ni’n edrych ar hanes, diwylliant, yr amgylchedd, a’r economi leol. Bydden ni’n creu cynllun gweithredu ar gyfer y gymuned. Bydd cofnod llawn yn cael ei gadw o’r “freuddwyd” – sef y weledigaeth a’r syniadau sydd gan bobl y dyffryn. Bydden ni’n edrych ychydig ar ôl troed carbon y dyffryn hefyd, ac edrych ar sut allwn ei newid. Y gobaith yw y bydd rhywun yn ei fesur eto yn 2020 ac yn 2050.
Y syniad yw dod â’r holl bobl a mudiadau sy’n gwneud gwaith da yn y dyffryn at ei gilydd. Bydden ni’n gweithio hefyd efo Gwynedd Gynaladwy ac efo Prifysgol Bangor sydd yn ariannu’r prosiect.

Just some basic information about the project:
The idea is to enable the community in Dyffryn Nantlle to do some of the things that people want to do. Things like developing the local economy, protecting natural resources, and celebrating how people do things here. These things won’t happen overnight, so the plan is to start by creating a clear vision that everyone can share in.
This will happen over the next few months in three meetings, and also here on the web. Here’s the outline of the meetings:

Planning meeting: starting to put the vision into practice, 23.5.2011
All the above will take place at Neuadd Goffa Penygroes at 7 pm.
We’ll look at history, culture, the environment, and the local economy. We will create an action plan for the community. A full record will be kept of the “dream” – that is the vision and the ideas that the people of the valley come up with. We’ll look at the valley’s carbon footprint too, and look at how we can change it – hopefully, someone will measure it again in 2020 and 2050.
The idea is to bring all the people and organisations who are doing good work in the valley together. We will also work with Gwynedd Gynaladwy and Bangor University.
